Andrea, RYT 500, has been practicing yoga for 20 years and received her training from Brentwood Yoga Center. She has practiced with Sri Arun H.S., disciple of B.K.S. Iyengar and is also a Reiki practitioner.
Often described as playful both on and off the mat, Andrea focuses on safe alignment, transitions, and pranayama (breath work) in order to unite mind and body. She believes when we are balanced in mind, body, and spirit; when we are compassionate and loving in the face of adversity; and when we find humor and lightheartedness amongst calamity, we can emerge from the rubble stronger, happier, and sufficiently equipped for the rest of the journey.
When she’s not teaching yoga, Andrea is an editor, poet, animal rescue volunteer, “house chef,” wife, auntie, friend, and usually laughing!
